Kindergarten Readiness Workshops

Kindergarten Readiness Workshops held each Thursday evening at the Uintah

County Library for mom/and or dad along with your child from 7-8 pm.

We offer group activities, and additional activities related to the Activity

Calendar given out at your school kindergarten round-up. DON'T have one,

come by anyway, we have extra ones.  Plus some readiness tips and ideas

Treehouse brings the museum’s youngest visitors its wildly popular reading readiness program. Preschool aged kids and their parents can enjoy stories, songs, crafts and more, all teaching prereading skills designed to get toddlers ready for school. Kids 5 and under are only $2 each and their adults are free during each of the two hour programs.

Held each 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from

11:30 ~ 12:00 (noon),  at the Uintah County Library for

birth to age 2 babies. 

SORRY!!  No baby-sitting available for older siblings

at this time.

 

  • We read board books, check them out for 2 weeks, then

gather again the following meeting to discuss what we

liked, and what we did not like about the books.

  • We also, get tips and pointers on how to help our young

ones develop a love of reading at an early age.

  • We learn fun finger plays and actions songs to do with

our child.

  • We learn different "baby signs" to help us better

communicate with our babies before they can speak.

Creative Kids (All Day)
Creative Kids is an interactive art class for children ages 4 yrs to 8 yrs old. Each class is a half hour in length. Choose from the following times - 11:00, 12:00, 2:00 or 3:00. Register for each class at the Infomration Desk at the time of admision. You can also pick up amonthly calendar of events at the Information Desk.

Toddler Time @ Treehouse Museum (1:00PM - 3:00PM)
Treehouse brings themuseum’s youngest visitors its wildly popular reading readiness program. Preschool aged kids and their parents can enjoy stories, songs, crafts and more, all teaching prereading skills designed to get toddlers ready for school. Kids 5 and under are only $2 each and their adults are free during each of the two hour programs.
